Maintenance Field Manager

Responsibilties

As Maintenance Field Manager you are responsible for the operation and function of our Maintenance Teams in the field.
Team Leaders will be directly reporting to you on a regular basis.
Management of up to 4-6 teams or up to 12-15 employees
Quality Control in conjunction with other Managers
Time management of teams
Minimizing unbillable hours
Meeting with clients as needed to ensure expectations are being met.
Upselling customers as needed through the season. 5% Commission on all upsell.
Update schedule as needed through the week.
Notify Clients of upcoming jobs.
Monitoring LMN and Company Cam as needed through the day.
Working with team members to help motivate to meet weekly and monthly goals.
Communication with customers as needed through email, phone calls, or meetings.
Communication with ownership on daily and weekly production of teams and forecasting additional labor.
Coordination of weekly safety meetings and presentations.

Job Requirements

Available to work 40-50 hours per week Monday-Friday and some Saturdays April-May as needed.
2-6 years of Landscape or Horticulture experience.
Pesticide applicators permit.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to identify common landscape plants, pest, and weeds.
OCNT Must be passed within first 60 days of employment.
Valid & Clean driving record and insurable by company insurance.
Availability for snow maintenance in the winter months.
Ability to use LMN (which is our mobile time tracking application).
Ability to up sell clients while on the jobsite.

Typical Day

Make sure teams receive work orders and equipment list for the day.
Oversee morning activities and spot check as needed.
Get teams out of shop in a timely manner (7:45am).
Check up on each Maintenance Teams a minimum of once per day.
Approve P.O.s for Team Leaders as needed.
Oversee daily time sheets in LMN.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the equipment, vehicles, and teams.
Daily tasks may include weeding, landscape bed clean ups, mulching, edging, plant installation, leaf removal, and pruning.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $50,000 -$60,000 per year plus Commission
