Irrigation & Lighting Tech

Responsibilties

As a Tech you will typically be working by yourself or with 1-2 other team members.
Working on customer’s properties to install and repair Irrigation & Landscape Lighting.
Recognize when additional repairs or modifications can be made to upsell the client.
Keep team on route and ensure that route is completed in a timely manner, while maintaining accurate records.
Daily maintenance of equipment.
Keep your assigned vehicle looking clean and professional, both inside and out.
Maintain accurate logs in landscape management software (LMN).

Job Requirements

Available to work 40-50 hours per week Monday-Thursday and some Fridays and Saturdays as needed.
1-2 Years professional irrigation and/or lighting experience.
Backflow inspection certification (not required but would be beneficial).
Excellent communication skills.
Able to identify common landscape plants, pest, and weeds.
Valid & Clean driving record and insurable by company insurance.
Availability for snow maintenance in the winter months.
Ability to use LMN (which is our mobile time tracking application).

Typical Day

Clean and inspect all equipment for the day.
Ensure that shop area is clean completed with work.
Load truck with appropriate equipment for the day.
Make sure truck and equipment are properly fueled.
Receive instructions/route information for the day.
Manage self or team while in the field, while staying on the appropriate route.
Notify supervisor of any delays, changes in route, or issues.
Maintain a clean, professional appearance of the equipment, vehicles, and team.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $21-$26 per hour plus pay-period bonuses
